The “Powder Blue” Air Jordan 9 turns 30 next year and in commemoration of that milestone, Jordan Brand plans to re-release this original colorway that is inspired by MJ’s beloved alma mater, the University of North Carolina.
At this very early juncture, there are no available images but Jordan Brand doesn’t want to waste the time of the sneaker buying public, what we should see is a sneakers that makes use of a white black and dark powder blue color palette and should do its best to be a fairly faithful recreation of its 1994 progenitor.
Unlike the nlike the last iteration in 2010, the 2024 version will reportedly eshew the embroidered “23”on the heel, rather returning to the clean version seen in the OG.
The “Powder Blue” Air Jordan IX is planned to make its third retail run in 2024 at nike.com and select retail establishments.
